Teaching

Hands-on experience is the only way to truly learn the scientific process. My extensive teaching experience has allowed me to guide students through the process of experiential learning in both the lab and the field.

Ecology, Northeastern University
Experimental Design in Marine Ecology, Three Seas Program, Northeastern University

Mentoring

Preparing students for successful careers in STEM is an integral part of my research program. I mentor students through involvement in my own research and advising them in their independent projects.

Through these experiences, my mentees learn the basics of experimental design, deployment, data collection, quality control, and effective communication. And I hope they have fun while doing it!
